Oklahoma State University accounting graduate student Yenifer Perez has been named a Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Scholar, which recognizes outstanding students in accredited accounting degree programs in U.S. colleges and universities with a $10,000 scholarship.

Oklahoma State University students will be featured guests this week on a special streamed national podcast produced at the Spears School of Business. The producers of the FAIRtax Power Radio podcast recorded their program at Spears Business in May showcasing master’s accounting students who quizzed the program’s hosts about the details of a national grassroots tax reform proposal. Part one of the podcast will be streamed on Facebook and YouTube this week.

Of course, it was an advertisement and their response would be, “I’m going to Disney World!” Oklahoma State University graduating senior Chealsea Fernandez could be asked the same thing, only she is spending time post-graduation in a paid internship at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
